Discipline

Our school of thought is based on the ancient form of Bushido, or way of the warrior. For centuries this has been a governing philosophy for many martial artists. It provides us a framework of how we should live our lives. Courtesy, Respect, Discipline, and Courage are cornerstones in the Bushido lifestyle. We teach our students these cornerstones throughout our classes and they are often found to come as second nature to most martial arts training. Our instructors focus on development of each student as they progress through the curriculum and as they grow into respectful, disciplined individuals.

Our youth martial arts programs are geared towards students age 4-14. For our older martial arts students, we combine martial arts skills and fight techniques in our Fight-n-Fit class which also provides a great strength and cardio workout. We encourage anyone interested in martial arts to come by and check out our night classes!

We meet on Monday and Wednesday evenings.

Youth class: 6:15-7:00pm
Fight-n-Fit: 7:15-8:00pm

Technique

Our curriculum encompasses a wide variety of martial arts styles that include a focus on self defense practices. On your road to Black Belt you will learn what we like to call the Forged Four. The Forged Four is a specific blend of four martial arts styles that are melded and forged into our own unique style. Once a student reaches Black Belt, they will begin training in other interesting styles such as weapons training, Systema (Russian hand-to-hand combat), and Dem Mok. Throughout all levels of training, a student will be pushed both physically and mentally to become stronger and more confident.

Self Defense

You hear stories about dangerous encounters on the news almost every day and it might be getting difficult for you to trust others or feel safe in new or unfamiliar environments. If you're worried about your personal security and your ability to defend yourself, martial arts training can teach you to yield your body against an attacker.

Martial arts and self defense classes are useful for more than just your personal safety. Here are several ways you can benefit from martial arts/self defense training:
